The auction closed today... Corrine will be contacting all the winners and collecting payments. She will let us know what we've earned. Our hope is that it will pay for our team uniform tops (marsha will be filling us in)and maybe a few other things along the course. Mostly, we'd love to make a donation to Operation Kids in our team name.

START TIME!!!

So our start time has been given... 12:30. If your reaction is "WHAT??? That's so late!!!!" Your not alone. I'm going to contact the Ragnar people and hopefully get us moved up, even just an hour, but for now....this is where we are at. At an avg. 9 min pace ( i think we may be a bit faster than that) we will be ending the race around 3:30pm on Sat.

Hey..on the bright side, we get to sleep in...don't know about you but that right there pretty much makes the whole trip perfect for me!

Update

Here's a quick little update on where we are at with our "needs" for the team.

12 runners ready to tackle a crazy, fun, exhausting course, have the best time and make new friends. CHECK!

2 vans to pimp out, decorate and announce the arrival of the DIVAS along the course . CHECK!

2 Drivers to drive the aforementioned vans so we runners can rest and relax and not have to think about the next place we are supposed to be..well we are DIVAS u know! CHECK! (thanks marsha n todd!)

3 Volunteers to work along the course. CHECK! (thanks marsha n nancy!)

2-4 Headlamps so we can see where we are running in the middle of the night..(we r crazy, huh!) CHECK! (thanks marsha, n errin) Don't forget a hat to help the lamp stay on!

Super comfortable, relaxing, nice places to stay before and after the race. CHECK! (thanks corrine from all us out of towners)

12 Awesome coordinated outfits so we look superfly. MOSTLY CHECK... Marsha will give us an update...

2-4 Reflective vests so cars and other runners can see US zooming by when we are running in the middle of the night. UNFULFILLED--need 2 more

Lots of yummy snacks, food, and drinks to sustain us and give us energy so we can go out there and KICK BUTT! NOT ASSIGNED YET. Here's a list of some things we will need:

• Power Bars/energy snacks--I have 2 boxes of chocolate n 2 boxes of PB- (just original,plain)
• fruit; bananas, apples, mandarins,etc..
• protein/carb snacks; trail mix, string cheese, pb pretzles, whole wheat bagels n pb, etc
• cases of water
• sports drinks/powder packets
• candy/treats

2 First Aid kits- one per vehicle- stocked with things like bandaids, instant cold packs, mole skin, tape, ace bandages, pain pills, etc... CHECK! Thanks Stephanie and Ali

2 GPS units so we don't get lost. Not a must but would be helpful along the course...anyone have one we can use in the cars...???? CHECK! Thanks Heather and Amy M.

Please bring with you a copy of your medical card and any medical history that would be helpful if needed. (allergies/conditions)
